Policy

Our data collection policy.

Overtell reads publicly-visible welcome-offer pages on operator websites once a day, extracts the headline promotional terms, and stores the values. This page explains what that means in practice, what we will not do, and how to correct a record you think is wrong.

What Overtell does

Overtell runs a nightly pipeline that visits the welcome-offer page of each tracked operator. For each site, it reads the published promotional terms as they appear to any first-time visitor: headline bonus amount, free spins, wagering requirement, minimum deposit, max cashout, and the operator's own terms-and-conditions link.

The extracted values are stored with a timestamp. When values change from one day to the next, the change is flagged and surfaced in the morning digest. The source URL is stored alongside every field so every value is traceable.

What Overtell does not do

Overtell does not scrape content that sits behind a login or a KYC wall. We do not automate operator signups. We do not create fake user accounts to surface player-specific bonus terms. We do not bypass cookie-consent walls in any way that would make the resulting data quality legally ambiguous. If a page is only visible to registered players, we do not read it.

Overtell does not scrape user data, PII, player reviews, or any support content. We read the same promotional surfaces a prospective player would see when comparing operators.

Public pages only

Every record in Overtell is sourced from a public URL that is linkable and cacheable by a browser. If a page requires a session to render, it is out of scope.

Dispute-review process

If an operator spots an inaccurate record, email corrections@overtell.io with the specific record, the correction, and a source URL that supports it. Overtell reviews the submission and, if the correction is supported by the source, updates the record within five business days. The update is visible on the next digest cycle.

Blanket delisting is not offered. The data we track is promotional information that the operator has already published to the open web; the remedy for an inaccurate record is correction, not removal.
